This Shipping / Delivery Policy explains how Kasturi Associates processes dispatch and delivery for physical products and equipment (where applicable). This policy should be read along with your Terms & Conditions and any quotation, invoice, or supply agreement.
1) Service Area
We generally ship within India. For special destinations or urgent shipments, delivery timelines and courier availability will be confirmed at the time of order.
2) Order Confirmation
An order is considered confirmed only after one or more of the following occurs (as applicable):
written confirmation by email/WhatsApp from our official contact(s);
issuance of a quotation acceptance / purchase order acknowledgment;
invoice generation and/or receipt of payment (full or partial as agreed).
3) Processing Time
Typical processing/dispatch timelines:
Consumables/regular items: [● e.g., 3–10 business days]
Equipment / special orders: [● e.g., 3–10 business days]
Backorder/import-dependent items: timelines will be shared case-by-case.
Processing time excludes Sundays and public holidays, unless agreed otherwise.
4) Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery after dispatch depends on destination and courier:
Metro cities: [● e.g., 2–5 business days]
Non-metro/remote areas: [● e.g., 4–10 business days]
These are estimates; delays can occur due to courier capacity, weather, regulatory checks, strikes, or force majeure.
5) Shipping Charges
Shipping/handling charges (if any) will be:
shown on the quotation/invoice; or
communicated before dispatch.
Some orders may qualify for free shipping based on value, location, or partner program terms.
6) Courier Partners and Tracking
We use reputable courier/logistics partners. If tracking is available, we will share tracking details after dispatch via email/WhatsApp.
7) Delivery Requirements and Acceptance
At delivery, the recipient should:
verify outer packaging condition before accepting;
sign/acknowledge proof of delivery;
for high-value equipment, ensure an authorized person is available to receive.
If the shipment appears tampered/damaged, you should:
note it on the delivery receipt (where possible),
take photos/videos immediately,

8) Cold-Chain / Special Handling (If Applicable)
Certain healthcare products may require special handling. Where applicable, we will coordinate packaging and logistics appropriate to product requirements and partner guidance. Delivery acceptance timelines may be stricter for such shipments and will be communicated in writing.
9) Installation, Training, and Demonstration (If Applicable)
For equipment that requires installation or training:
delivery does not automatically include installation unless stated in the quotation/service agreement;
installation/training scheduling depends on site readiness and mutually agreed dates.
10) Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details (full address, PIN code, contact person, phone number, receiving hours). Additional charges due to incorrect address or re-attempts may be billed.
11) Non-Delivery / Return to Origin (RTO)
If a shipment is returned to origin due to refusal, incorrect address, repeated failed attempts, or unavailability of recipient:
re-shipping may attract additional charges; and/or
the order may be canceled with deductions for logistics and handling, as applicable and permitted by law.
12) Title and Risk (Ownership/Risk Transfer)
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
risk of loss typically transfers upon delivery/acknowledged receipt.
ownership/title may transfer as per invoice terms and payment status.
13) Returns / Replacements
Returns/replacements (if offered) depend on product category, condition, and partner/manufacturer policies. For medical and healthcare products, returns may be restricted for safety and compliance reasons.
